Congratulations and Welcome to UF!
Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Florida! The University of Florida is excited to welcome you to its thriving community. Beginning your time at the University of Florida online can be both daunting and exciting. To assist you with your transition to UF, we’ve developed tailored and comprehensive orientation programs, to prepare you for your first semester online.
To ensure that you have reached the right place please be sure to check your UFL email for specific instructions on how to register for Links Online Orientation. If you were admitted to the PaCE program you should visit the First Year Page for more information about your transition.
Links Orientation
We are excited for you to be a part of the Gator Nation and want to make sure that you have all the information necessary to begin your journey. We have prepared a comprehensive online orientation, called Links, to help acquaint you with UF’s policies, procedures and programs.
Within Links you will have the opportunity to learn about:

And the next steps you should complete post orientation, such as securing your GatorONE ID (university ID) and arranging your first semester academic advising appointment
Prior to registering for Links, you should take a moment to set up your UF GatorLink account if you have not done so already.
Please do so, by following these steps!
After completing your registration Links Orientation will populate through Canvas, UF’s eLearning platform. You can access Canvas by visiting elearning.ufl.edu. If you do not see Links on your Canvas site right away, it may take between 24-48 hours to populate.

Webinars
Designed specifically for those new students who were admitted to UF Online. Join New Student and Family Programs for our new student UF Online webinars. These online forums will connect you with staff at UF who can answer questions about UF Online, academics, Optional Fee Package information, student resources, and more!

UF Online offers an Optional Fee Package, designed to give students who reside in Gainesville, or frequent Gainesville, access to campus student services. It includes the Activity & Service , Health Services, University Athletics, and UF Transportation fees. It costs $46.21 per credit hour and is completely optional for each student. The cost can be supplemented by financial aid.
