Whether, you are embarking on the college experience for the first time, transitioning to a new place, or continuing your studies we look forward to helping you be successful from day one. Our team partners with academic units and campus resources from across the university to ensure we are providing tailor-made experiences for students. Each program is unique to your admissions or program delivery. Below and on each program page, you will find additional details about what to expect, offering type, goals, and answers to many frequently asked questions.

Freshman Preview Orientation
The Preview program is designed to assist new students with their transition to the University of Florida. As a part of Preview, students will register for their first semester classes.
Admit Type: Freshman
Summer B, Fall, Innovation Academy & Pathways to Campus Enrollment (PaCE)
Transfer Preview Orientation
The Transfer Preview program is designed to assist students with their transition to the University of Florida. As a part of Transfer Preview, students will meet with their college academic advisor to register for their first semester classes.

UF Online Links Orientation
LINKS ORIENTATION IS DELIVERED VIRTUALLY
The Links Orientation is designed to assist new UF Online students with their transition to the University of Florida. As a part of Links, students will become acquainted with UF’s policies, procedures and programs.

Family Preview Orientation
The Family Preview program runs parallel to the new student and transfer Preview programs and is designed to assist new families understand the Gator Student Experience. Family Preview will introduce families to services, resources, and opportunities offered by the University of Florida.

Transitioning to a new place can be filled with many emotions! New Student & Family Programs, in collaboration with various campus departments and academic areas, strives to support you inside and outside of the classroom.
