Where will Your Path Lead?

The transition to college life can be both an exciting and challenging time. Your new student transition experience will help you successfully prepare for your college transition. Together, we will take the University of Florida to new heights.

First, there is Preview, a required, robust virtual program, focused on providing you the core resources to start your Gator journey. Then you will be invited to participate in Gator Nation Visit Days (GNV Days), an optional one-day in-person transition program to help you get connected and learn about all the campus has to offer.

Registration Steps for Preview

Students & Families will register for a 1-day session in May or June. Each session will consist of live Zoom meetings that engage incoming students with their peers, an academic advisor, and help them register for classes. Students should be available from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. PM EDT for their Preview date. Family Preview will take place during the week of their students’ session and have live and recorded options for families to engage and ask questions.
