Fall Family Weekend will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 through Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Family Weekend 2021 will offer a variety of in-person and self-guided experiences that you can participate in as a family while visiting your student. Families will be able to “choose your own adventure” to create the Family Weekend 2021 experience that best suits their interests. Events and event locations will be released in summer 2021.
Families participating in Family Weekend are responsible for their own lodging accommodations for the weekend. There are several local options for families to choose from when making these accommodations. For on-campus accommodations, you may want to contact the Reitz Union Hotel.

The Family Weekend schedule has a variety of event offerings that take place starting Friday and concluding Sunday. You may pick and choose the events that you are able to attend at your leisure. Participation in some events may require you to arrive at a specific time. Event details will be released in summer 2021.
Some events require registration. Each registration is unique to each event. Please register for each event separately.

Please Note: While some events do not require registration, we recommend arriving early/on-time.

You will be sent an e-mail confirmation to the email address provided on your individual registrations. Please refer to the Family Weekend Schedule to determine if an event requires registration.
If you do not receive an immediate email confirmation, or if you have lost your confirmation, email us at IHaveAGator@ufl.edu. Please include the UF student’s name and Gatorlink Email address.
Yes. Some events require payment. If your family has registered for a ticketed event and do not cancel their registration at least 48 hours prior to the event, the student is still fee-liable for that event. All payments will be taken at the Family Weekend Help Desk. Information about the Family Weekend Help Desk is included in your individual event confirmation.
Please contact New Student and Family Programs at (352) 392-8396 or email IHaveAGator@ufl.edu to request special accommodations that you or your family member may need during Family Weekend. Special accommodations may include, dietary needs, interpreter services, parking, etc.
If you would like to edit or change a specific event registration, please email IHaveAGator@ufl.edu. No changes can be made over the phone.
Family Weekend is designed for all members of your family. There is a wide range of activities that are suitable for all ages.
No. If an event requires registration, all guests must pre-register using the links provided in the schedule.
Check-In is not required if your family does not register for a ticketed event.

Families who register for a ticketed event will receive check-in instructions in their specific event email confirmation.
